Ron Hunt set what still stands as the modern-day MLB hit-by-pitch record when he was dinged for the 50th time on September 29, 1971 in Montreal. The pitcher throwing the record-breaking hit-by-pitch was Cubs starter Milt Pappas in the 2nd inning of the game at Jarry Park. The catcher, who you can see in the video, is Chris Cannizzaro. The Expos came back from a 5-3 7th-inning deficit to win this one 6-5, on the penultimate day of the season.
This footage also features a portion of an interview that Ron Hunt gave, I believe in 1980, to SRC French language TV.
Perhaps there is better footage out there, I'm not sure (hopefully), but it does show Ron's reaction, or more accurately, his lack of reaction as he sets the record and calmly just trots to 1st base.
