Film of Sloten in the sixties, by Johan Adolfs

he film is one of 1500 city films that the Enschede businessman and co-stylist Johan Adolf had made of medium-sized villages and towns in the Netherlands between 1950 and 1970, of which about 150 were in Friesland. Later, performances were also organized.
The films ended up in numerous collections after his death and were brought together again by several institutions. The Frisian Film Archive is one of those institutions, and they found this film by chance when they were in the museum in the safe for something else. Now they have digitized the original film for us, so thanks to the Frisian Film Archive we can now share it with you.
