My grandmothers vintage jewelry box needed some love, watch me diy restore it to its former glory with its original costume jewelry contents.
Seriously, I redid all the velvet lining in the drawers, sanded and recovered all the actual metal of the drawers, wood glued the cracks in the base, removed the nicotine damage (she was a smoker) and repainted the exterior, polished all the metal parts, made ring holders, and just sealed the whole thing. SHE LIVES! I feel like a pirate with a treasure chest.
