Welcome to day 1 of a 3 day camping trip with my buddy Al back in July 2019. On this trip we drop my 12' aluminum boat into a small back lake in Ontario, we travel across it to a set of falls that drops down into the next lake. We carry the boat and all the gear over and set up camp on a near by island. We quickly get to fishing for Smallies with a couple Largemouth and Walleye mixed into the bag. It was a great trip with many laughs and we were able to get into some very quality fish. Stay tuned for day 2 where the fishing gets a little tougher, but we're still able to figure out a bit of a bite.
