The 5pm open for NBC affiliate KNWA licensed to Rogers, Arkansas, serving Northwest Arkansas and the Arkansas River Valley.
KNWA is following several other Nexstar stations dropping their voiceover talents for various voices at Spotvoice. This comes as Nexstar was originally going to make all of their stations switch to A.I. voices, and are now switching them over to talent at Spotvoice.
Over the weekend, KNWA dropped Atlas talent Steve Stone for Spotvoice talents Dan Jordan (Forecast First) and Kasey Kearcher (News open, talent bump). Graphics (NBC_01) and music (U-Phonix by SAM) remain the same.
