MT. IGCORON, ANTIQUE HIKE | HIKING IN PHILIPPINE COUNTRYSIDE

After 2 years I was able to hike again! Yay! To those who are planning to visit the mountain, here are some details you might need to know. The strong wind won't allow me to talk clearly during the vlog 🥴

✔Mt. Igcoron is located at Valderrama, Antique province.
✔Difficulty: we were informed it is 3/9 but for me, it can be 5/9. The trail was short but the obstacles to reach the summit is way CHALLENGING 😆 (knife edge, kiss the wall and the inclined trail with strong wind?? 🥴)
✔Travel time from Kalibo to Antique 3hrs via mini bus. This mountain is 400masl in height.
✔Back trail with overnight camp site where you can pause and enjoy the view!
✔The trek will take you 3-4 hrs from the jump off to the summit (depending on you phasing)
✔Registration is made first at Valderrama police station before proceeding to Brgy hall for jumpoff. Bring I.D, Brgy certificate etc. Guides are also available.
✔I joined western Panay trekkers for this hike. They have more upcoming hikes that you might wanna check and join 😉   / summit.trekkers101  

The fee costs 1600php including the bus fee, tourguides, 3 sumptous meals & registration.
✔ It was very cold and the strong wind have gone crazy. Habagat season hits really hard. I would love to come back off windy season.
