Building a Solar Equipment Wall | EG4 18Kpv mock-up | Man About Home

I built a wall in my basement, to mount my solar equipment and sub-panel on. It needs to be long lasting, flame proof, insulated, mold proof, rodent proof, and strong enough to hold all the electrical equipment.

I installed Expanded Polystyrene as a vapor retarder. l used metal stud framing, for my first time. And it will be insulated
with RockWool mineral wool batts.

I fashioned mounting stations on the studs to bolt three battery wall brackets, and the 18Kpv hybrid inverter wall bracket.

After constructing the frame and equipment stations, I mounted the equipment to mock the installation up, to be sure
everything will fit as planned after the insulation and wall board are completed.
