About GTCYS
In the conviction that music nourishes the mind, body, and spirit of the individual and enriches the community, the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies (GTCYS) provides a rigorous and inspiring orchestral experience for young musicians.

Excellence at Every Level
GTCYS is committed to both excellence and access. With 11 school-year orchestras, summer camps, and access programs, our program serves more than 1,300 students ages 7–18, meeting them at their musical level and inspiring them to excel musically and build lifelong skills.

Building Community
GTCYS students find belonging and collaborate with equally passionate peers. They build confidence and learn the power of sharing music through 30 free and ticketed concerts across the Twin Cities.

Access for All
Students will benefit from more than $300,000 in need-based scholarships for tuition and private lessons this year. Our donor community creates opportunities and entry-points for every interested student. Join them by making a gift at gtcys.org/donate.
