How to cook red braised Chinese pork tongue

In this video, I will show you how to make braised Chinese-style pork tongue with scallion ginger oil over steamed jasmin rice. For this recipe it is best to use a pressure cooker.
If you do not have a pressure cooker, you can braise the tongues slowly in a regular pot for a couple of hours until they are tender.
Ingredients for braised tongue:
Pork Tongue
1 inch of Ginger
3 Star Anise pods
1/2 tsp White pepper
1/4 cup White Sugar
2 tbsp Chinese cooking wine
4 tbsp Chinese Dark Soy Sauce (mushroom flavored if possible)
4 cups +- Beef Stock (mixed from bullion)
1/2 tbsp salt

Salt
Peanut oil
