AFC Wimbledon lost out late on to Swindon Town 2-1 on Tuesday night as two penalties in stoppage time turned the game on its head.

Substitute Marcus Browne had appeared to have popped up to win it for the Dons with his third goal for the season, however a remarkable turn of events in the dying minutes of the game saw us walk away with nothing to show for our efforts.

Kabongo Tshimanga dispatched two penalty kicks for the hosts, with a red card for John-Joe O’Toole summing up Wimbledon’s misery as our promotion hopes took a big dent.

With Harrogate to come at home on Saturday, our side will have to pick themselves up quickly to breathe new life into our charge for a top seven finish.
