Aigiri Nandini – Mahishasura Mardini Stotram
A sacred and powerful hymn composed by Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya around 810 AD, this stotram praises the mighty forms of Devi Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati. Known for its divine energy, the chant celebrates the victory of the Goddess over the demons Madhu–Kaitabha, Mahishasura, Sumbha and Nisumbha.
