In this video I go through some powering options for the Sony FX3 and FX30 as well as many of Sony's Alpha cameras. SmallRig were gracious enough to provide me with a couple of their batteries and some cage accessories to help make this video, but other similar options are available from other supplier, these ar not the only options. But the SmallRig batteries with built in USB-C PD do make powering these cameras really easy and I am a big fan of their NPF970 with USB-C PD as it can power a wide range of accessories such as monitor and video transmitters and power the camera at the same time. There is the added bonus that when the battery is directly powering the monitor that the monitor can display the battery charge status.
