In this video, I’m sharing everything I sewed this fall 🍂 — but more importantly, I’m talking about how my approach to sewing clothes evolved over the season.
At the end of summer, I was self-drafting most of my patterns, experimenting, and really enjoying the freedom that comes with drafting your own designs. As fall approached, though, my priorities shifted. I found myself searching for high-quality sewing patterns that offered thoughtful design, strong drafting, and details I didn’t want to reinvent from scratch.
This video is part sewing recap, part reflection on why I stepped away from self-drafting (at least for now), and part review of my favorite fall sewing patterns and what makes them worth sewing.
