"I love the AFI!" This week we honor the late great David Lynch by pairing his wonderfully nightmarish 'Lost Highway' (1997) with sammies from two absolutely iconic L.A. staples - Astro Burger on Melrose, and Bob's Big Boy in Burbank.

Joining me in the scary studio is the magnificent Mary Lukasiewicz, and wow, what an honor! Mary has worked on some iconic modern masterpieces, such as 'Dune Part 1', 'Blade Runner 2049', 'Sicario' and 'Arrival'. Mary and I dig in and dish about all things "Lynchian", as well as what the f*ck does "Americana" actually mean, David Lynch's superpowers of casting, and, of course, we grieve the absence of perfection in art (and, life?).
