Manish on Salman Khan: "I have known him since 1984. We had common interests. I don't want to get into what the common interests were at the time, but one of them was the gym. He was a good swimmer. He was into body-building. We hit it off as we both used to frequent the gym together. He would sneak in on my member and he would get caught and I would pay the fine of hundred bucks on mine. I don't think that even Salman know that he would become so famous and successful. He was trying to figure out what he would do in life. If I could make ten thousand Rupees a month, my life would be set!"

Mohnish Bahl (born 14 August 1961) is an Indian actor working in the Indian film industry and on Indian television.

Mohnish Bahl debuted with the film Bekarar in a supporting role opposite Padmini Kolhapure and co Starring Sanjay Dutt but the film was a critical and commercial failure. His subsequent release was Teri Bahon Mein, a remake of The Blue Lagoon with Ayesha Dutt wife of Jackie Shroff, which was also a failure. His only commercial success in a leading role was Purana Mandir though it was considered a B grade film[3] it was Hum Saath-Saath Hain in 1999, which transformed Bahl's career, and he later became known as a character actor.
