One of the most beautiful places on earth: the Dolomites in Northern Italy. I spent a week hiking and mountaineering in the fall, the golden (and perhaps most beautiful) season of the Alps.
In this video you can see footage from the Vallunga valley, Puez national park and Gran Fanes, ending near Cortina d'Ampezzo.
What an adventure it was! I slept inside rifugios and bivaccos, camped once or twice, and endured at least two storms.
