How will be Vapi's Bullet Train Station? In Depth Work Update | March 2025

Join us for an in-depth look at the Vapi Bullet Train Station and its Maintenance Depot, a key part of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor! In this video, we explore the station's strategic location near Dungra, Vapi, Gujarat, just off the Vapi-Silvassa Road (Gujarat SH-185), offering easy access to Vapi, Dadra, Silvassa, and the under-construction Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
We’ll walk you through the station's layout, featuring two levels—platform, and concourse as the entrance—along with two platforms and four tracks for regular services. The station's sleek design, inspired by the theme of speed, reflects the cutting-edge vision of India’s first bullet train project.

The adjacent maintenance depot near Karvad, spanning 6 hectares, is being built with advanced technologies similar to Japan’s Shinkansen depots, including inspection bays, washing plants, and stabling lines.

Get the latest work update as of March 2025! The concourse, track, and platform slabs are complete, and the truss roof has been erected, showcasing rapid progress. Meanwhile, the depot is on track to be finished by the station’s slated completion in August 2026, aligning with the Gujarat section's opening. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train will connect 12 stations, with Vapi being the fifth stop, reducing travel time between the two cities to just 2 hours at speeds of up to 320 km/h. Stay tuned for more updates on this transformative project!
