Resources you can bring into the home (caregivers, respite, community supports)

Caregiver health & burnout (sleep, medical needs, emotional/relationship strain, finances)

Your loved one’s symptom profile (agitation, hallucinations, delusions, sundowning, wandering, safety risks)

Safety incidents that may signal you need more support (falls, wandering, aggression, medication errors)

Why it can help to explore facilities early (waitlists can be long, and planning reduces crisis decisions)
