For the first time in a decade, the Chief Minister stepped into the NTR Stadium to inaugurate the 37th edition of the Hyderabad Book Fair.
The Hyderabad Book Fair this year has 350 stalls with a range of offerings, including rare books and used books beside religious texts. For the first time, the state library has put up a stall showcasing what it has to offer. The book fair is on till December 29 and is open between noon and 9 p.m.
Book fairs are a great platform to promote literature and connect with book lovers. They also provide vital support to local businesses,” said Rakesh, a vendor setting up his stall.
This year’s fair will feature a wide variety of books catering to diverse tastes and interests. Genres on display include comics, novels, short stories, poetry and children’s books. For those keen on exploring regional literature, the event offers an excellent opportunity to delve into Telugu literary works, all available at a minimum discount of 10%, said the volunteer.
