DAY 8
This course provides a practical introduction to Bayesian statistics using R and the brms package. You will learn the fundamental concepts of Bayesian modeling, how to implement models in brms, and how to interpret results in an applied research context.
The course is taught by Dr. Benjamin Rosenbaum, a postdoctoral researcher at the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv). With a background in applied mathematics, Dr. Rosenbaum’s work bridges theory and ecology, focusing on mathematical and statistical models to understand species interactions, population dynamics, and biodiversity patterns.
