✨ Lübeck at Christmas | Germany’s Most Magical City on a Budget ✨
I flew to Germany for just £45 to visit Lübeck, one of the most magical cities in the country, it feels like stepping straight into a Christmas movie🎄✨
This is my last vlog before Christmas, and I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to slow down and soak up the festive atmosphere.
Lübeck is a UNESCO World Heritage city, known for its medieval streets, Gothic brick buildings and rich history and at Christmas it completely transforms. From the famous Lübeck Christmas Market, glowing with lights and festive stalls, to the atmospheric Medieval Christmas Market, where it feels like time has stood still, every corner of the city feels magical.
I also spend time wandering Lübeck’s beautiful historic shopping streets, filled with independent boutiques, antique shops and hidden gems. And I experience dinner at one of the city’s most iconic traditional restaurants, Schiffergesellschaft, a historic sailors’ guildhall serving classic northern German dishes in the cosiest setting.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly Christmas trip, a cosy European city break, or somewhere that feels festive without being overwhelming, Lübeck might just be the perfect place for you!
