Insane Scifi Military Training. Forever War

The Forever War by Joe Haldeman is a must-read military science fiction staple. It explores unique combat technologies and tactics, all while not glorifying War. In fact, some people say it's a good chaser to follow books like Starship Troopers.

But that's not important. Could a Forever War soldier beat up a Warhammer 40k Space Marine or a Halo Spartan? Do their finger lasers and Dune stasis fields hold up against bolters and lasguns? The Forever War VS Battle wiki entry when?

I read through the book and made note of every single mention of weapons and tactics in order to break them all down and judge combat capabilities.

This was a really fun video. The research and examination parts are my favorite in general, and this involved a lot of that.
