This song also known as "(Now and Then There's) A Fool Such as I" was written by Bill Trader in 1952. It was a number 2 hit for Elvis in 1959. My good friend Robert Florczak recently featured on his Facebook page about the song and Ray Walker, who was the bass singer for The Jordanaires. Ray does the cool low part at the beginning and throughout the song. As of April of 2024, Ray is still alive at the age of 90. This is such a great song that Bob Dylan did a version himself in 1967. I thought I would humbly take a shot at Ray and Elvis's parts and even start it off with a little of Hank Garland. Another side note is that Chet Atkins also played on the original record.
