Spider Man - The Animated Series Playthrough (SEGA GENESIS/MEGA DRIVE) (DEATHLESS)

Having been a huge fan of Spiderman growing up and an even bigger fan of the 90's animated show it was natural that I would get around to playing this game. Funny enough though, I had no idea it even existed growing up. Found out about it much later when I was in my teens. A total shame too since I know that I would have loved this game when I was young. Most of my favorite villains are all here, the controls are nice and simple, and the challenge is certainly there but not to the point that its overkill and overwhelms the rest of the game...unlike Maximum Carnage and Spiderman & X-Men. The end battle with Venom is certainly challenging enough but not to the point of inducing fits of rage and frustration like so many other Spiderman games of this era did. I feel that the game pretty accurately captures the cartoon in which its based off and it was a nice touch adding in lesser-known villains like Owl, Jack O' Lantern and Beetle instead of some of the others we all know and love......just a shame we never did get Morbius or The Vulture or even Kraven the Hunter, that would've been awesome! If you happen to run across a copy of this I would say to pick it and totally give it a spin. Its certainly one of the best if not THE BEST Spiderman game on the console! Thanks for watching!
