Join us as we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom at the 99th Annual Great Neck Memorial Day Parade, led by the United States Merchant Marine Academy, with midshipmen marching proudly alongside veterans, first responders, and community groups.
Highlights include:
🎺 A stirring performance by the USMMA Regimental Band and the FDNY Bagpipes
🪖 Marching contingents from the USMMA, local veterans organizations, and emergency services
🌺 A solemn remembrance ceremony at the newly renovated Village Green Veterans Memorial
This annual tradition reflects Great Neck’s commitment to honoring those who served and sacrificed. As Parade Chairperson Louise McCann emphasized, Memorial Day is a day of remembrance, not celebration, ensuring the true meaning of the day is preserved.
