A little earlier than usual but the Rainy Season has officially begun here on our little island in Southern Japan!

We picked as many Mulberries as we could before the rain arrived and made a delicious Jam with them,worked well with the homemade rice flour bread we baked!Dog walks
may be wetter than usual for the next few weeks now that Tsuyu(rainy season)has arrived but we don't mind at all.

After a quick surf session and some fun time at the beach,we cooked a tasty coconut prawn curry for dinner which also included Onion and Coriander from our very own
small natural farm!

Even with the rains,the rhythm and joy of our simple rural life goes on!
