Hi! My name is Rachel Tiede, and I'm an anchor/meteorologist for NewsChannel 13 in Albany, NY. I anchor three broadcasts daily, and forecast for our evening broadcasts. I also report for the station -- everything from investigative pieces, to special features, to stories for our quarterly weather specials.
I graduated from TCU with a journalism degree in 2017. During the pandemic, I decided to go back to school to complete my Broadcast and Operational Meteorology degree from MSU. I graduated with that in 2023.
