I wrote LGBTQ-USA after realizin’ I get the same tingle watchin’ fireworks as I do watchin’ a cowboy bend over a hay bale. There’s just somethin’ about America, the smell of diesel, freedom, and fresh denim ridin’ high. I love this country like I love my men: strong, loyal, and terrible at hidin’ their feelings. So I grabbed my guitar, cracked a beer, and saluted both.
