Thousands filled the streets on 2nd May to celebrate Lincoln City FC's victory winning the National League as well as their superb FA Cup run this season - the first non-league side to reach the quarter finals in 103 years!
His Church's specially decorated 1957 Bristol Lodekka and 'Team Up' buses hosted the team, the Mayor of Lincoln and Lincoln City staff as part of the 3-bus convoy on the 3-mile parade around the City.
An estimated 30,000 people joined in the celebrations and Lincoln City FC's tweet summed up the atmosphere - 'this was for the City, not just for the Club'.
His Church work with Football Clubs and Schools to promote education, healthy eating, sports participation and social inclusion for children in the UK. This work is also being continued in Liberia where His Church continue to support the government in encouraging children to return to school following the Ebola crisis.
