In this clip, Vlad asked John Salley if he’s interested in joining the NBA as an analyst, and John stated that he isn't. He then spoke about wanting to share his knowledge as an NBA player, including speaking to players about wanting to eliminate stress in their lives. Moving along, John spoke about wanting to point out the “fun parts” of the NBA as an analyst, and Vlad went on to speak about Isiah Thomas wanting an apology from Jordan for remarks on “The Last Dance.” John quickly stated that he doesn’t think Isiah will get the apology, and he spoke about how he and Jordan were cool until they became rivals in the NBA. John then pointed out that Phil Jackson was the first person to call him and his Pistons teammates “thugs,” which John stated is hypocritical. When it comes to the “Bad Boys” name, John revealed that David Stern came up with the name, which he said Stern later regretted.
