The concept of “biological age”, a measure of the accumulated impact of aging processes on the body, addresses the observation that some individuals live healthily for decades longer than their peers. Measures of biological age – aging “clocks” – correlate with chronological (calendar) age, but support more reliable prediction of disease and death. Ten years ago, Steve Horvath published the first clock with effectiveness across all human tissues; at the Summit, he described newer and even more precise techniques that operate across all mammalian species.
