On 25th August 2017, the Rohingya people

faced one of the darkest chapters in human history, a night of fire, bullets, and unbearable loss.Families were shattered, homes were reduced to ashes, and thousands of innocent lives were stolen.

This poem, Añár Hala Din (My Black Day), is my humble attempt to give voice to that pain to remember the cries of our mothers, the silence of our fathers, and the tears of our children.
