We went out and did some field testing of different antennas to see whether the stock antennas of the g3, Lectrosonics antennas, or custom-made antennas made a difference to the wireless performance of the unit.
After testing the various configurations, we show how to do the SMA modification the the Sennheiser G3/G4 units as well as how to make the patching antennas out of spare cable.
