It should be noted that 'Hatim', also known as 'Hajar Ismail', is a 3 meter wide oval adjacent to the north-west wall of the Kaaba. Large number of pilgrims try to pay Nawafal in Hatim. It is proven from hadiths that the virtue of Praying at this place is like Praying inside the Kaaba. Scholars agree that Hatim is not separate from Khana Kaba, but it is a part of it. For this reason, during Tawaf, Hatim is not passed through, but Tawaf is taken from outside it. Due to a big crowd and for the convenience of the visitors, the management has fixed the timings and the duration of the visit so that maximum number of visitors can be satisfied. The rules for going to Hajr Ismail 'Hatim' have been announced by the Institution of Haramin Sharifeen. Hatim entry times for men and women have been fixed. For the convenience of Umrah pilgrims, the Western direction of the Kaaba Sharif has been reserved for entering the 'Hatim' and offering Nawafl there. Those coming from the western direction will have the facility to go to Hatim and pay Nawafl for 10 minutes. Mean total duration to stay in Hateem is 10 min almost. The time for men is 8 am to 11 am. The entry time for female pilgrims in Hatim is from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM. During this schedule and fixed time, men and women will be able to enter Hatim and read Nawafil comfortably.
