The M/V Normandie operated with Brittany Ferries for over 32 years, primarily serving her purpose-built route between Ouistreham (Caen, Normandy, France) and Portsmouth (Hampshire, United Kingdom). Launched in 1992, Normandie ended its service with Brittany Ferries in April 2025.
Here in this video she is docking at her registered port, Ouistreham on a slightly overcast morning in late July 2024, during her final peak summer season with Brittany Ferries. With a capacity of 2,123 passengers, 648 cars, and a service speed of 20.5 knots, Normandie has since begun a new chapter. Renamed Massalia, she entered service in the Balearic Sea with La Méridionale in June 2025.
