[K-Gayo 3] Dance Mix 2022 Performance (CL, BTS, ITZY, NCT 127, JESSI) - University of Michigan

K-Motion, Female Gayo, and DB3 are finally back as K-Gayo 3 again! This was our "Ice-Cold" performance at Dance Mix 2022 (the largest student-run dance show at the University of Michigan). The show was COMPLETELY sold out that night, with over 1,200 people watching. If you missed the in-person experience, here's finally your chance to see our hard work. We PROMISE the wait was worth it. We want to thank ‪@dancemix2529‬ for doing a stellar job of hosting the event, despite a three-year hiatus, and all the other performing groups that night. That memorable night couldn't have happened without you all.

K-Gayo 3 is the annual collaboration at Dance Mix of three different K-Pop dance teams at the University of Michigan: ‪@KMotion‬, ‪@FemaleGayo‬, and ‪@Daebak3‬. We strive to showcase our passion and spread Korean culture awareness on campus with our diversity and energy. Overall, we are an enthusiastic group of friends that love to perform K-pop and hip-hop dances around campus for cultural shows and performances!

K-motion is first and foremost a group of girls who are passionate about dancing and love to have fun. We are the university-recognized all-female Korean Pop dance cover group founded in 2013 that blends Western urban dance and Korean Pop/Hip Hop dance styles into our performances. In addition to performances, we aim to promote every member’s growth in dance and leadership while creating long-lasting relationships between our dancers and the greater UM A/PIA community.

Female Gayo is the official female K-Pop dance team under the Korean Student Association (KSA) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Our mission is to showcase our passion and spread awareness of Korean and Korean American culture with our teamwork and energy. We do not limit ourselves to just K-Pop, we dance to American Pop songs and hip hop choreographies as well! Overall, we are an enthusiastic group of friends that perform around campus for cultural shows and in collaboration with other dance groups and organizations!

We are DB3, otherwise known as Daebak 3, the official all-male K-Pop/Hip-Hop dance crew at the University of Michigan. Our mission is to spread awareness about Korean culture through the art of dance and to create a close-knit community for our members. We aim to embrace both new and old K-pop music through our performances and strike a chord with a wide audience. Our goal for all performances is to present the audience with a kaleidoscope of personalities and characters through dance in which they can enjoy.
