An unboxing of a plastic model kit: this currently available Směr Yak 23 “Flora” Cold War era Soviet fighter jet model kit in 1/72 scale. This version is the 2024 release, the latest of a long line of releases by a long list of brands, including KP Models and MasterCraft. However, the tool is originally by KP from 1981, more than forty years ago, so this still counts as a vintage kit in my book. Feel free to try to convince me otherwise in the comments below.
It exists now as a part of my growing stack of Someday Models --model kits that just sit around in the cupboard waiting to be built...someday.
