In recognition of the invaluable contribution of the employees in the Office of the President (OP), President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. leads the celebration of Family Day at the Kalayaan Grounds in Malacañan Palace on December 2, 2023. 

Spearheaded by the Office of the President (OP) and the Social Secretary’s (SoSec) Office, this two-day event aims to extend gratitude to all the OP personnel who play an indispensable role in nation-building in support of the President. It also provides an opportunity for all employees, as well as their families, to come together and utilize the services being offered. 

During the event, President Marcos Jr. tours various booths. These include the Lab For All (LFA) that provides free medical consultations, laboratory services and medicines; the Government's flagship programs such as Passport on Wheels, driver’s license application/renewal, SSS E-Wheels, GSIS and Pag-IBIG membership assistance; and the Eye Health Camp 2023 by Vision Express that offers a one-stop shop for eye care needs. In addition, the Kadiwa ng Pangulo booth features fresh and reasonably priced produce directly sourced from local farms to the Malacañang's doorstep. 

As part of the celebrations, a free concert open to the public will be held along Mendiola Street at 6:00 in the evening, featuring the renowned artist Bamboo.

The OP Family Week is an annual event, initiated by former President Fidel V. Ramos in 1992. Originally held in September, the event has been moved to December to maximize employee participation and align with the spirit of generosity and community prevalent during the holiday season. This decision ensures that the event can be delivered without any disruptions to essential services.
