My name is Nora. I am twenty-eight years old. I live in a small apartment in the city. The apartment has one bedroom and one small kitchen. I live alone.
Every day is the same for me. I wake up at six in the morning. I take a shower and eat breakfast. I drink coffee and eat toast. Then I go to work. I work at a big company. I sit at my desk all day. I work with numbers and papers. At five, I go home. I cook dinner for one person. I eat alone at my small table. I watch TV for one hour. Then I go to bed.
I feel lonely most days. I have no boyfriend. I have no husband. My parents live far away. I call them once a week. They always ask the same question. They ask when I will get married. I always say I don't know.
