In an effort to further "ruin" my 4wd truck, and turn it into a pro touring AWD Silverado, we're lowering the suspension a little bit further. Right now, it kinda looks like a stock 2wd GMT800 silverado, which is OK, but I want it to look just a little bit lower. In addition to the better looks, todays suspension modifications are about functionality as well, since a lower center of gravity will improve handling, as well as the sway bar and double adjustable shocks that we're using. Up front, we'll be doing a coilover shock conversion and a stiffer sway bar as well. Parts being used in today's video include Viking double adjustable shocks, a Hellwig rear sway bar, Belltech drop hangers and shackles, a shock relocation bracket kit from Atomic Fabrication and Performance. My goal is to have the truck ready for LS Fest West in April, and I want to enter the drag racing and autocross portion of the event. Hopefully, by the time LS Fest West rolls around we'll have the AWD Conversion done, as well as the power adder installed onto the LS cammed 4.8 that's on its way.
