Little Bo Peep has lost her sheepAnd doesn’t know where to find themLeave them alone, and they’ll come homeWagging their tails behind them

Little Bo Peep fell fast asleepAnd dreamt she heard them bleatingBut when she awoke she found it a jokeFor they were still a-fleeting

Then up she took her little crookDetermined for to find themShe found them indeed but it made her heart bleedFor they’d left their tales behind them

It happened one day as Bo Peep did strayInto a meadow near byThere she espied their tales side by sideAll hung on a tree to dry
