Lauren Ryan - Young Onset Colon Cancer

Lauren, wife and mother, began experiencing symptoms of colon cancer. As a nurse, she knew the importance of talking to her doctor and getting to the root of the problem. At just 28, Lauren was diagnosed with stage 2 cancer. By catching her cancer early, Lauren was able to undergo surgery and chemotherapy; now she is living cancer-free.

Routine cancer screenings are not recommended for most until much later in life; however, by advocating for her health and taking symptoms seriously, Lauren is cherishing moments with those who love her most.
