I recently stayed in a Sea Loft on Deer Island within the Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island, SC. I have been intrigued by these unique “tree houses” for many years but this was my first stay in one. They were build in the 1970s near the Harbour Town area of the resort . This Sea Loft had an amazing view of the marsh and Calibogue Sound and has been beautifully remodeled to maximize the space. The vegetation and wildlife were incredible.
