Clinical Psychology and Counseling Careers: ASU Alumni Panel (Fall 2024)

Interested in pursuing a career in clinical psychology or counseling? ASU alumni share their experiences and offer insights into the field.

Invited speakers included Kim Palmer, a licensed professional counselor and trauma specialist; Karishma Singh, a licensed associate counselor; Zoe Garza, a behavior analyst; and Alex Pearl, a licensed psychologist.

They discussed their unique career paths in clinical psychology and counseling, offering advice on navigating the realities of the field — including how the job differs from expectations and the importance of self-care. They also shared tips for undergraduate students, emphasizing the value of mental health awareness and professional growth.
