2024 has been EPIC for 6mm & 10mm wargaming - is this a small scale renaissance?

Since starting my Battle of Five Armies journey, I've seen many new and exciting small scale wargames enter the scene. Is this the start of a golden-age for Epic and Warmaster enthusiasts? Or have there always been plenty of great small scale games and I just haven't noticed?
