This is a video that is focused on the Fluid Kinematics: Analyzing fluid motion without looking at the forces that act on the fluid particle. We are more concerned with the fluid's velocity (velocity field representation) and acceleration (acceleration field representation), etc.
In this video, we go in-depth into the concept of the acceleration field, and how it is related to the material or substantial derivative. The material derivative has two important terms: the local derivative and the convective derivative. For acceleration, these are known as local acceleration and convective acceleration.
Any Engineering students may find this video beneficial, but it is specifically directed towards undergraduate students of Mechanical Engineering who are studying Fluid Mechanics I.
As a reference, students can refer to Munson's and Okiishi's book titled 'Fluid Mechanics' for further in-depth reading.
