This is a team vs team shin-dig with some awesome players! Bragging rights were on the line here!
Billy's Team (I think it is team Outphase or something) consisted of
Billy Brake
Ryan Spicer
Jason Halloway (you can hear him in the background A LOT)
Sam (I don't remember his name but he was the runner up at this year's nationals)
and I think Chris Bowling
Team Legacy is a team that plays at a very high level. While I do not know their names I know a few of them have had great success at the Regional, YCS, and National level and win A LOT at the shop this was held at.
The set up is simple. One duel at a time. Winner stays. This means one player on either team could literally sweep the entire other team.
It was very cool watching Billy duel with his championship deck, and it actually made me feel foolish. A lot of the moves HE made were not what I was thinking "I" would do in the same spot. He is one of (if not the) best duelists in the USA, and a pretty nice guy to boot. Congrats on your YCS Toronto victory!
