Rohta Chigah Shrine - The Champions Ballad DLC The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild

Here we take on the Stop To Start challenge of the Rohta Chigah Shrine, the next shrine in The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild The Champion’s Ballad DLC Pack 2. It’s one of the four shrines that you’ll take on in the Great Plateau, but you can only unlock it by clearing all of the Lizanthos at the Eastern Abbey and it turns out to be a spike-filled terror.

You can find the Eastern Abbey from the top of the Great Plateau Sheikah Tower towards the Jah Baij Shrine (   • How to kill a Guardian & the Ja Baij Shrin...  ). Once you’ve taken out the Lizanthos (see    • Eastern Abbey One-Hit Obliterator - The Ch...  ) the Rohta Chigah Shrine will appear and you’ll be able to start the grueling Stop To Start challenge that it gives you.

Without hearts, you’ll be very vulnerable to Game Overs, so tread carefully and keep a steady hand throughout. To start with, you’ll need to use Magnesis to move the metal slates on the floor to build a bridge across the jumping spike floor. It’s pretty treacherous, so take your time and make sure you place them close enough to jump easily over. You can then use the metal block and place it in the corner to pick up the chest on the ledge, which gives you a decent shield for your efforts.

Next, you’ll need to move the longer metal platform to get to the ledge at the end of the spike pit to move into the next section. Here, there are a series of moving cogs and walkways and you’ll need to use the Stasis Rune to stop the right ones. Start by stopping time for the second cog and climb your way up to the area to the right of the spike wall. When time starts again, you’ll need to walk against the movement of the cog to wait until Stasis recharges again, when you’ll be able to use it to stop the walkway. Jump up and you’ll be able to walk across the rest to make it through this section of the Rohta Chigah Shrine.

In the next section, you’ll find three swinging spiked. Use stasis to stop time for the second ball as it’s swinging to the left and then time your jump and paraglide move to avoid the remaining 2 swinging balls. Try not to hit the side wall as this will stop your paraglider move and you’ll plummet to a game over. Lastly, you’ll have a gauntlet run once you press the switch in the next section to avoid the chasing spike wall. Keep moving at a good pace and simply move through the obstacles as we’ve done in the walkthrough video.
