“My Bella from Svobodny” follows the story behind a dog named Bella and its relationship with Marishka, the owner. This short documentary starts from a daily walk on the bank of Amur river (Blagoveschensk), when the sun goes down. In the evening Marishka goes home, and there she spends time with Bella and Zhana, her Mom. Marishka always shows a sincere treatment to Bella at home, sometimes in the car, or on another day when she walks Bella in the park by the river of Amur. Marishka finally, while driving in the evening, shares her thoughts and concerns about the stray animals in Russia in general. “I love a dog, because for me a dog is a friend for man”, she added, “unfortunately, in Russia today it’s a big problem as people treat animals badly, even wildlife.”
