He describes how he went from a normal life to being diagnosed with cancer after a routine checkup revealed abnormal results from a digital rectal exam. Despite not having many high-risk factors, his biopsy and genetic tests indicated aggressive cancer, leading to a decision between surgery and radiation.

Paul sought multiple opinions and alternative therapies before undergoing surgery. He also struggled with the emotional burden of facing the unknown and worrying his loved ones.
